Lucas Ramirez
“When we come together and when we can unite, the results can be unbelievable.”

Lucas Ramirez is a non-profit executive, author and keynote speaker to a diverse group of audiences including students, politicians, CEOs, educators, pastors and leaders. He has spoken at venues such as the Catalyst Conference, TEDx, and the Georgia House of Representatives and has been featured on Fox & Friends. He is an organizational leadership expert and loves sharing and learning new ideas.

Ramirez lives out his passion for raising up the next generation of leaders in his role as the President and CEO of The Gathering Place, an innovative student mentoring and Christian leadership development organization in Georgia that impacts nearly 10,000 students annually.

Ramirez is also the author of Designed for More: Unleashing Christ’s Vision for Unity in a Deeply Divided World, which FaithWords released in June 2018. By drawing lessons from a beautiful natural phenomenon of flocking starlings known as a “murmuration,” Ramirez, with co-author Mike DeVito, offers seven principles for how Christians can move in unity. The follow-up book will apply the murmuration principles to businesses, schools, teams and communities.

Ramirez was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of six, he immigrated to the United States with his family. He earned a degree from Eastern University and served as a youth director for the Wesley United Methodist Church for over five years before stepping into executive roles at The Gathering Place. He is married to his college sweetheart, Thea, who is the founder and CEO of Adoption-Share. The couple has three children and lives on the Georgia coast.
